Meet Bob & Chris

Bob Ruch, owner of Northwest Millwork and Door has spent the last several years as a general contractor with a focus on fine finish carpentry. He also holds a degree from the University of Washington in Forestry.

The start up of Northwest Millwork and Door Co. is filling an important niche in today's custom home building marketplace. Bob says, “I saw the opportunity to provide people with high-quality custom crafted millwork and doors.”

Chris Braund is the inspiration behind their custom design work, as well as the master of all the tools and building of the products. With 15 years experience in building cabinets and furniture, as well as a graduate from Purdue University with a degree in Engineering and Art, he's capable of listening to what customers like, then designing and building it. "If you can imagine it, I can build it," says Braund. His portfolio includes intricately designed wine cellars with curved walls, a jeweler's workbench with multiple handcrafted drawers, solid wood chairs and doors, cabinetry, tables, armoires and more.
